IN RE: ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER 1986-1 -- PHOTOGRAPHY AND BROADCASTING IN THE COURTROOM AND ITS ENVIRONS
ORDER OF COURT
AND NOW, this 15th day of July,1986, for purposes of Pa. R.Crim.P. 328, "Photography and Broadcasting in the Courtroom and its Environs", the environs of the courtrooms in the Northampton County Government Center shall be as noted on the attached floor plans of the Government Center and filed with the Court Administrator.
The taking of photographs and radio or television broad-casting is prohibited in the courtrooms and designated areas during the progress of or in connection with any judicial proceeding whether or not the court is actually in session.
This Order shall also apply to preliminary hearings and summary trials conducted by District Justices in the Government Center pursuant to Pa. R.Crim.P. 27 and Rule 7 of the Rules of Conduct of District Justices.
Effective immediately.
